Titirangi Golf Club

Titirangi. In the Maori language “fringe of heaven”.

Perhaps Dr. Alister MacKenzie had that in mind when he designed the Titirangi golf course back in 1927. There is something heavenly about playing Titirangi - with rolling fairways weaving their way through the beautiful native New Zealand bush.

Dr MacKenzie is the only golf course architect with 4 courses ranked in the top 25 in the world, those being Augusta, Royal Melbourne, Crystal Downs and Cypress Point. Titirangi is the only course in New Zealand designed by MacKenzie, and true to his principles, it offers enjoyment for every level of golfer.

Titirangi is a members’ club with a cherished history going back more than 100 years. Experience that history and the genius of Alister MacKenzie when you visit, and play a round at Titirangi.

Membership at Titirangi Golf Club

Titirangi is not just a great golf course – it’s a great golf experience.

When you join Titirangi, you are joining the Titirangi golf family. For many of our members, Titirangi golf club is a second home, a place to enjoy the camaraderie of friends and a shared passion for golf.

We believe that members should be able to play golf whenever they want to, so there is no weekly or monthly restriction on the number of rounds you can play here.

That's possible because we have fewer members than many other clubs in Auckland. Consequently, we do have waiting lists for some membership categories.

Titirangi enjoys its reputation for competitive excellence - we hold many internal club competitions throughout the year, we have several pennant teams in the Auckland interclub competitions, and we also have 'friendly' exchange competitions with clubs further afield. So, if you’re competitive there are plenty of chances to get your name on the trophies.

Our role in the future of golf is also important to us. Titirangi has various initiatives for promoting junior golf and introducing new golfers to the game.
