Junior Coaching

 

Titirangi is dedicated to supporting the next generation of golfers, both recreational and competitive, in achieving their goals. Our commitment extends across various initiatives:

• Weekly junior clinics
  • We offer engaging and skill-building clinics for young golf enthusiasts. These sessions focus on fundamentals, technique and fostering a love for the game through fun games and activities.
• Collaboration with local schools
  • Titirangi actively partners with local schools to introduce golf to students. Through workshops, coaching and exposure to the sport, we aim to ignite a lifelong passion for golf.
• Junior competitions
  • Our club hosts competitions tailored specifically for our junior members. These events provide a platform for young players to showcase their talent and compete in a supportive environment.

2024 Sunday schedule

Term 1: 11th Feb - 14th April

Term 2: 5th May - 7th July

Term 3: 28th July - 29th Sept

Term 4: 20th Oct - 15th Dec

We will hold two registration days, where we'll discuss how your child will have the most fun and benefit learning golf. We'll conduct general assessments to determine which group coaching platform is best suited for each individual. This process covers beginners looking for fun first group sessions, but also a great opportunity for juniors who've already started golf to discover more about their game. 

 

2024 registrations:

Sunday 4th and Sunday 12th February

Registrations will be completed on the day or contact us by email for more junior academy and membership information. All registration payments must be received before Term 1 coaching begins. Any issues please contact me directly for assistance.

Junior Academy Platforms

 

• Learn golf. Beginner Golf term by term registrations $185.00 per term.

Beginner golf for juniors while having fun. Here we learn basic movements patterns and fundamentals through games and activities. This is the perfect starting point for beginner juniors at any level.

 

• Coaching golf. Term by term registrations $265.00 per term.

This is an opportunity to refine basic movements and apply our fundamentals. In this space we continue to learn through games and activities with grading components to assist with specifics from the tee to the putting green. This platform will also have limited on course sessions.  

 

• Junior development academy. Annual registrations $1250.00 Annual/4 term full playing junior membership.

In this space I help our young golfers further develop their skills and passion for the game. We'll focus on setting goals, embracing new experiences and change, apply our learnings and become the best we can be from the tee to the green. This will be acheived through specific practice drills and tasks tailored to individual needs. Over the course of 9 weeks I will work with golfers to develop a personalised practice plan structured to help them improve and reach their potential.
